Hello everyone and a warm welcome to the first issue of P.R.I.D.E, the quarterly newsletter from LPR Mortgage Services.

It's been an amazing nine months since LPR was born, and I want to start by saying a huge thank you to all the clients out there that have given us their support and trust, by allowing us to help with their mortgage arrangements.

You really are the most important people in our business, and this newsletter is first and foremost for you.

Mortgages tend not to be the most thrilling of subjects, so I hope we have created a forum with a sense of humour and a bit of fun, that stimulates and educates at the same time.

This newsletter takes its name from the central qualities that a client not only deserves from his or her mortgage advisor, but should infact demand. They are as follows:

For those that have met me, you will know that I have a passion for this job. It is more than just mortgage advice; it’s about being able to make a difference in people’s lives. Mark and I were recommended to Lloyd by a colleague at Mark's place of work and the letting agents acting for our landlord, who was in the process of selling the house we were renting off him.

After seeing several banks and mortgage advisors and ending up still no clearer on what type of mortgage was best for us, we decided to make an appointment with Lloyd. We met with Lloyd to discuss our options and found him to be clear, concise and honest. After our first meeting we knew exactly where we stood as he explained everything clearly, and we were able to make an offer for the house we were renting the next day.

We met with Lloyd a further two times and he took the time to ensure that we both understood each stage of the mortgage application process. We both feel confident that Lloyd worked in our best interests by taking the time to understand what our financial position was and what we were prepared to do. Platinum Mortgage Club

The Platinum Mortgage Club was launched at the end of last year in December 2005, as a way of recognising those clients who had made a real effort towards recommending our services to friends, family and work colleagues. There is no better way of doing business than via personal recommendations, and I am so grateful to each and every individual who has taken the time to take our details and Pass It On.

Pass It On is the catchphrase of the club. Pretty simple really. LPR Mortgage Services wants its clients to pass on our details to all those that they feel would benefit from talking to us. When five or more have been recommended to us, then doors to the Platinum Mortgage Club are opened. The terms and conditions are on the website, www.lprmortgages.co.uk.


So, I want to send a particular shout out to the following clients who are a sniff away from obtaining membership into the most exclusive club in town

Happy Birthday LPR!


LPR Mortgage Services will be one year old on April 1st 2006.

As a thank you to all our clients and those business colleagues that have supported us over the last twelve months, we will be having a birthday party at a date and venue to be announced. So ladies, get your posh frock out of the wardrobe. Fellas, nip down the high street and hire that dinner jacket. It should be a great night. Look out for your invitations soon.
